We headed to the pretty village of Haworth for the annual Steampunk Weekend. The kids had great fun admiring all the stunning costumes.
The Haworth Steampunk Weekend is an annual event. There is some evening entertainment but we didn’t go as this was after the kids bedtime.
There were a few stalls selling steampunk accessories, crystal jewellery and the like.
But mostly it’s an excuse for Steampunk enthusiasts to get dressed up.
We also had Rainbow-Owly along for the ride. Little Miss has recently joined our local Rainbows group and this week she’s looking after the group’s mascot.
There was a nice park for the kids to let off some steam.
And they were treated to some vintage sweets.
I also had a fabulous time browsing (and buying) in the lovely shops.
A Little Bit About Me . . .
Thank you so much for stopping by my corner little of the interweb. I’m Bridie, mum to two small humans, full time homemaker and full time craftaholic – which totally explains why I’m always short on time!
I’ve included links to my favourite retailers for the products I’ve used to make my crafts. Click on any of the product images and links for full details. If you decide to buy any of these products I may get a small percentage of what you spend. There’s no cost to you at all.
