How to Make Honey and Mustard Salad Dressing
Making this salad dressing is simply a matter of mixing the ingredients together. Super simple!
I like to use a glass bottle to keep my salad dressings in. They look much posher than an old jam jar or Tupperware tub.
These are my favourites.
Using a dressing bottle does present the issue of filling it without spilling the ingredients all over your kitchen.
I treated myself to this handy little funnel set for Canning. It comes with a little funnel that’s perfect for filling dressing bottles.
All of the ingredients in this honey and Mustard Salad Dressing recipe are added “to taste”. So that means that you add as much or as little as you like.
Start with the olive which is the base of the salad dressing. Then add the white wine vinegar and lemon juice. I’d say you want to start with about half oil and half acids.
Next add the honey. It won’t dissolve easily so you’ll know you’ve added enough when there’s a lump of it in the liquid.
Then add about the same amount of Mustard. I like to use half Wholegrain and half Dijon Mustard but this is totally down to your personal preference.
Pour in a little pinch of garlic Granules.
Give your honey and Mustard Salad Dressing a taste test and see how you like it.
I do hope this Honey and Mustard Salad Dressing Recipe has inspired you to have a go at making your own salad dressings.
