I love using scrapbook sketches to make my layouts quick and easy. This sketch worked great with some scraps of Gorjuss papers from my stash.
Gorjuss Designer Papers
I adore the distressed effect and jewel tones of the Gorjuss designer papers.
They all go so well together I put zero thought into which papers I used on this layout. I literally used whichever paper scraps best fitted the scrapbook sketch.
Distress Inks
I love using distress inks in most of my papercraft projects. They add a little lift to the papers, a little bit of texture and dimension. On this scrapbook layout I’ve used Walnut Stain.
I sweep my distress ink in form the edges of the paper using an applicator. Instead of the expensive mat I use an old piece of plastic packaging underneath my papers.
Embellishments
I’ve kept the embellishments to a minimum on this layout. Mostly because I wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t face anything more complex.
But this washi tape was just too perfect not to include. I also really like the sentiment, “Give me Some Space”. These photos show my first exclusive crafting spaces after many years of waiting for them.
Scrapbook Page Title
I’ve gone the easy route for the title and used some stickers. They started off life as silver glitter but I coloured them in with my black Promarker which has really tined them down to a muted greyish glitter.
