What wizarding fan wouldn’t love this sweet little magical dude? He’s part of the Little Dude’s range of digital stamps from Polkadoodles. I’ve paired him with the bright and colourful Grand Plans papers from First Edition.
Digital Stamping
The Digi image is from Polkadoodles, part of their Little Dudes range. Isn’t she just the cutest!?!
While these digital images may look intricate they are actually super easy to colour. Once you’ve got the hair and skin just right the rest of the image just comes together with the slightest hint of colour.
I print my digital stamps onto Winsor & Newton Bleedproof Marker paper. It’s bright white so my colours really pop and it also helps to stop the inks bleeding into each other.
I’ve coloured this little cutie with my Winsor & Newton BrushMarkers. Here’s the shade’s I’ve used:
Skin Tones
Hair
Navy
Blue
Orange
Green

Designer Papers
I’m a big fan of First Edition papers but this Grand Plans stack has been in my stash for a while. I don’t seem to have made many cards for boys lately. But it was perfect for these Little Dudes digital stamps.
A Little Embellishment
I’ve embellished my card with die cut stars. I love using my star dies for boys cards instead of flowers, they add the same “little bit of something” without being remotely girly. I’ve used the Star Flourish Die set from XCut.

I’ve also added a couple of the little stars from inside the die cut shape.

Greeting
The Grand Plans paper pack includes a sheet of little words and phrases. It could be used as a background paper but I like to cut them up and use them as greetings. By using the same paper pack for my greetings I know that the colours will be perfectly co-ordinated with the rest of my card.

Take a Peak Inside
I think it’s such a shame to receive a beautifully decorated card only to open it and be faced with a blank page. So I use more of my designer papers to decorate the insides of my cards. I mostly use scraps leftover from the main design and a 10cm square of plain paper to write a nice message onto.
